I love using the new camcorder minidv's because they are so lightweight and portable.  I used to have an old style camcorder, and after recording for thirty minutes, my shoulder was tired and in major pain.  It took two hands to hold that thing, it was so big and heavy.  Now with camcorder minidv models, I can hold it in one hand and not use my shoulder at all. The new camcorder minidv weighs less than four pounds.  I can hold my camcorder minidv for hours without getting overly tired or sore, too.  The new camcorder minidv's are much easier to take along with me anywhere I go, which is very convenient.  I can record all of my kids' birthdays, every holiday, each play they star in at school, and so much more.  It's wonderful to be able to record all of their special moments and be able to watch them in the years to come as they grow up.  Being able to hold and carry my camcorder minidv is much easier to do now.  I am happy with my camcorder minidv.
